Here's a picture of the lead "story":

There are just a "couple" of problems with the headline and the article.
The "Black Justice group" is actually the Black Lawyers For Justice. Their stated mission is:
As all may be aware, the New Black Panther Party advocates violence against almost all peoples not "black". For more insight, Click Here.
Shabazz, as a 2015 New Year's resolution, offered this - check it out.
So the head of the BLFJ is advocating that the New Black Panthers take up arms and prepare for violence. Sounds familiar to what the New Black Panthers stand for. You think there is no coordination/correlation between the 2 groups? Take a guess.
An aside: Imagine, if you can, the hypocritical "hue and cry" by the media were there to be an organization called "White Lawyers For Justice" where their mission was to offer help to only white people. And, if it was shown that they had loose, if not direct, ties to the KKK!
No where in the article does CBS News offer any of the above "back story". The article and the headline would lead one to believe that some peaceful "group for justice" were going up against a bunch of redneck, bigoted KKK members. This is deceptive news reporting in the normal progressive style: "Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth." In this case, lies of obfuscation are in play.
CBS has engaged in decepetive journalism - and, I see it every day! It is clever, subtle, deceptive, and unfortunately effective for those who do not take the time to check news stories for basic and in-depth facts.
To further illustrate the point, here is a story written by one who actually was there in S.C. You'll, of course, notice the article speaks ONLY of the New Black Panthers and not of some "black justice group".
AND, as relates to the picture of the members of the KKK consider the following:
No one, and I mean no one, who considers the Confederate Battle flag as an historic representation of what the Civil War was fought over (i.e., States Rights - Article 10 U.S. Constitution = "The powers not delegated to the United States [i.e., Article 1, Section 8] by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."), would ever contemplate inserting what was meant to be a KKK symbol or some type of Nazi cross in the center of the flag. To a true Southerner this would be a "sacrilege" of the highest order.
As far as the KKK is concerned, it is a reprehensible organization - on its best day. As reprehensible as it is, it "enjoys" operating in many states of our nation - even today, redneck or not. "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of the ignorant." - Thanks, Lamont..
Any gathering where the KKK and/or the New Black Panthers - or their "clones" - are in attendance is a place where one can find ignorance, hate, and potential violence. And, anyone in authority who fails to speak out against such groups or defends same is aiding and abetting in the dividing of our Nation.
It would be awfully nice and appreciated if the media would stick to reporting news and not filtering the news with falsehoods, mis-leads, diversions, and creating their own news. This would keep me from having to "back check" everything I read or see these days.
