Terrence Moore, Ph.D. on "Common Core"
Dr. Moore is an assistant professor of history at Hillsdale College. A former Marine with a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh, he served as the founding principal of a top K-12 classical school in Colorado and advises Hillsdale's Charter School Initiative, providing assistance with the formation of classical charter schools across the country.
In the below video he offers his opinions on the academic curriculum called "Common Core". Common Core is a government initiated program for standardization of education for school grades K through 12. The video is 55 minutes in length - long, I know. But, the future of our Country is at stake on this one!
The examples he provides offer more insight into the "Common Core" than is available from most other, single sources. In all, this is a most elucidating presentation.
Moore is introduced by a Hillsdale College student.
